Hello. My therapy practice was built with a vision of providing care to my community in ways that reflect my values as closely as possible. Those values center around my belief that healing comes when we have access to safety and authentic connection because the deepest answers we may need arise ultimately from within ourselves. I seek to be an active participant in creating a culture of care for all people. As a transgender therapist, I am especially equipped to support those who find themselves somewhere outside of traditional gender norms, including those who are newly exploring questions of gender identity or sexuality.
I come into this role from my own healing journey that is always on-going, still often surprising, and practiced with intention because it’s been my most meaningful source of freedom, inspiration, strength, and clarity. My response to receiving gifts like these in my life is gratitude for the many teachers who bring me along, and a desire to share what I’ve learned. I believe that our pain and trauma always has context that is political, often intergenerational, and that reconnecting with ourselves and embodying our healing can invite individual and collective liberation.
I see my work to be rooted in providing my full presence, without expectation or agenda, so that together we are able to untangle the stuck places and weave in abundant compassion for ourselves and what we’ve needed to do or not do to survive.
Reaching out for help can be overwhelming, but I'm glad you're here. Please contact me if we might be a good fit.
